Intermediate IT Technician

Experience:

  • IT support: 4 years (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
  • Respond to IT support tickets promptly and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry.
  • Evening and afterhours work required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for delivering outstanding support, both in-person and remotely.
  • Comfort working primarily on-site at client locations, and sometimes in the office, or from home.
  • diploma or degree in Information Technology (or a related field).
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry.
  • A solid understanding of computer networks—components, topologies, and how it all connects.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint and Teams.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration across all key areas.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Workstations and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skilled in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with Apple products and how to support them.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a definite plus.
  • A team player mindset—you work well in collaborative environments.
  • reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license for client visits.
  • Availability for evening and/or afterhours work.
